I just purchased a lead list. Any advice on how to execute an effective marketing campaign?

Use your list as a prospecting tool. Plan out a campaign with multiple touches on each contact. Not everyone buys when they receive the first email you send them. You’ll need to build trust and provide value over time before you can expect to see sales come in.

How do I select a targeted lead list?

Carefully consider your audience. Look at the type of business or individual you want to attract based on your current customers. Do you need to target higher revenues or income levels to achieve your sales goals? Or do you need to contact a COO or a CMO instead of the CEO or owner? Also, consider the type of product or service that you offer.

 

(Ex. If you sell life insurance, not everyone has the disposable income to afford the specific policy that you offer. If you target individuals 35 and older, who have a family and an income above $50k, the probability of them purchasing the policy increases significantly.) 

When should I purchase my list?

We recommend waiting to purchase your list until you’re ready to market your product. Our data is updated frequently, and to ensure the highest accuracy rate, you’ll ideally want to execute your campaign within 30 days of ordering your data.

Can I use MailChimp or Constant Contact to Deploy Email Campaigns with your email lists?

Clients purchase our lists to prospect for new customers. It’s referred to as an “acquisition campaign.” Constant Contact and MailChimp only permit retention mailings, that is to say, they only permit you to send emails to existing customers, for informative or upsell purposes.

Do you have business and consumer emails?

Yes, we have a comprehensive list of business and consumer emails, with hundreds of filters, that makes it easy for you to choose a highly targeted email leads.

Make sure that your offer and call to action are clear. If the recipient can’t find what you have to offer within a few seconds, you’ll lose your opportunity to grab their attention.

Can I get a sample list?

Is there a minimum order size?

Our minimum order for postal lists is $90 and a list with both email and postal addresses is $180 minimum. The price per contact is reduced with volume buys.

Do I have to subscribe or pay a monthly fee to use your service?

No, we don’t charge a subscription or monthly fee. You only pay for the data and services that you need.

Is your data scrubbed against the federal Do Not Call Registry?

Yes, we regularly check our database against the federal government’s National Do Not Call Registry and remove any numbers included on the list. However, it is ultimately your responsibility to independently verify your phone list against the National Do Not Call Registry.

What is a NAICS Code?

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is used to classify business establishments for the purpose of collecting, analyzing, and publishing important statistical data related to the economy.

What is a SIC Code?

A Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is a four-digit number assigned to each business by the U.S. government to classify their given industry.

How much does a list cost?

The cost varies depending on the type list, fields included in the output, and quantity. Our online tool automatically discounts lists when higher quantities are ordered.

Can I download my order more than once?

Yes, the file will be hosted on the site and can be downloaded multiple times. Usage of the sales leads will be dependent on whether you purchase a single or multiple use list. 

How do I download my order?

To download your file, please follow the instructions below

  1. Click here or go to www.exactdata.com to visit our website.
  2. Click the Log In icon in the top, right of the page.
  3. Your Email and Password login will initially be your email address for both.
  4. Once signed in, you will be automatically prompted to change your password. Please remember your personalized password, it will grant access to all orders moving forward.
  5. Once logged in with your new password, you will see your Order Summary and Download Page. On this page you will have access to all your creative tests, files to download, and campaign analytics for all open orders. When I upload any of your materials to your Order Summary and Download Page, you will receive an automatic notification that your download is ready.

Yes, but this service is only provided offline at this time.

Can you suppress current customers from my updated list?

Only with offline orders. This avoids adding duplicates to your new list.

How do I access my list?

You’ll receive an email with a link to our customer portal about 15 minutes after your order is completed. All lists are downloaded from our customer portal.

How quickly will I receive my list?

You’ll receive an email with a link to our customer portal about 15 minutes after your order is completed. If your order contains sensitive elements, like religion or ethnicity, it may be delayed until you produce marketing materials for our approval.

How long can I use my list?

Lists are purchased for one time use only, unless you specifically upgrade to “multiuse.” We recommend updating your list every 6-12 months for the most up-to-date contact information.
